Vestax VCI-100

Last update: 21 Mar 2010 - Report an error.

Among many the VCI-100 is considered somewhat of a icon in the digital DJ-world. It was originally released intended for use with Traktor 3 but it's different mappings has evolved and today there are loads of mappings for both 2&4 deck Traktor PRO control and numerouse other softwares.

It's a pretty straightforward controller with the only real downside being the lack of rotary encoders, and perhaps the fact that it only has one intended fx control. On the other hand it feels very well built and has withstood a lot of wear and tear from numerous users without breaking. The price tag is a bit high compared to similar devices but the build quality and weight outruns most of them. And the community support found on primarly native-instruments forum (if you're a Traktor PRO user) and djtechtools.com is a great asset if you run into trouble of some sort.
